As always, we caution you — be careful what you click, and where you click. We always attempt to refer you to good, clean stuff — but malware, phishing, stalker and predator links are abundant in many sites these days. Whatch those little popups in the text. Just stay on the tutorial / content paths and you’ll be okay.
Brooke Shaden Visual trips to places unseen
Brooke Shaden is a fine art photographer living and working in the Los Angeles area. Her passion lies in creating new worlds through photographs. Her vision extends beyond the realm of the camera, creating images that resemble paintings and speak of an era that is not our own. Each image is a story
Brooke works to create new worlds within her photographic frame. By using painterly techniques as well as the square format, traditional photographic properties are replaced by otherworldly elements. Brooke’s photography questions the definition of what it means to be alive.

Riley Kern : Retro in the Rockwell style
Riley Kern is a fashion and portrait photographer located in Orange County and Los Angeles. Her photography is haunting — yet uses minimal Photoshop techniques.
She has a really cool “Retro” portfolio with poster/calendar girl style images (Riley’s “Retro” portfolio) and her editorial photography has a decided Norman Rockwell quality. You’ll have a lot of fun with her striking imagery in spite of the flash-driven site.
NEXT : Sarah Wilmer shares dark dreams … vah vah voom
Sarah Wilmer : dark dreams
Sarah Wilmer lives and works in New York, with her cat, Tubs. You’ll note the high degree of sophistication in her work is because her formal education comes from the Parsons School of Design, New York, NY
Unfortunately the poorly designed web site does no justice to her work. So, our link below for “more” pulls up many of the works on their own.
Star Foreman diverse portfolio
This work is bright and innovative. She shot a new version of the “We Can Do It” poster!
If her site wasn’t crouched in Flash, we’d be able to quote some of her qualities.
Zhang Jingna attitude to spare
Here’s another rockin’, sockin’ art photographer using Photoshop to drive home concepts on the bleeding edge of fashion. Her work is stunning, her web site is not.
Zhang Jingna aka Zemotion, 1988, Singapore, is a very young and productive fashion photographer currently based in Los Angeles. She started photographing while studying fashion and posted her pictures on Deviantart which quickly lead to millions of views. Very soon she would be shooting for Mercedes Benz Taiwan at the age of 20 years old with Ogilvy & Mather.
There are always lots of spectacular Photoshop images and visuals out there! Share them! We’ll be back shortly with MORE Photoshop Madness … and please — BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU SURF … but when you do find a great Photoshop practitioner, or a good Photoshop tutorial, please share it with us! If you create Photoshop Tutorials yourself, please post your info here so you can be considered for a Photoshop Fave!
Of course, some of our favorite editions of Photoshop Madness can be found in the legacy Photoshop Tips & Tricks web site!
