Andrea Wan is an artist and illustrator and Visual Artist born in Hong Kong, rasied in Vancouver and based in Berlin. Her work is primitive, yet highly sophisticated.
Andrea talks about her work in this article by Valentin Porcher, Artistic director at OLOW

Her parents were graphic designers, and she spent her days in their studio, exposed to all the art supplies and tools! Watch this Vimeo movie, and listen carefully about “mistakes” …
in an article about public art, the author Monique comments :
Wan’s work brings together an eclectic mix of imagery ranging from spooky ghosts riding enchanted horses to squirt gun wielding women. These curious depictions are all part of Wan’s fantastical folklore inspired world and have given her much notoriety around the world.
