Sue Murphy : a matter of fact
Sue lives in New York and works at Wolff Olins doing art direction, design, copywriting and strategy. She presents her design straight and clear — always making the point in a matter of fact way. She designs with facts.
We really reacted to and enjoyed this little snippet of Sue’s insight into her work . . . Sue writes : This is a poster that discusses the effect the recession has had on Ireland. When keeping up-to-date with the news back home, I noticed there wasn’t a place where the information was compiled — Even through research it was hard to come across the actual statistics of what had happened.

Sara Blake is a rare individual, and talent. Don’t miss her Facebook feed! She writes :
Hello, hello, I’m ZSO, aka Sara Blake. I’m an illustrator, fine artist, and designer based in New York City, originally from Richmond, Virginia. I came up with the name ZSO in 2007 as an outlet and home for my personal illustration work while working as an art director in advertising.
ZSO (pronounced |zo|) is a collection of letters that I find aesthetically and phonetically beautiful, culled together from some personally significant people, places, and things. Together they make a sound much like “so,” the adverb which means “to such a great extent.” I am a person of extremes, for better or worse (most often the latter), so the ring of it was fitting, and the moniker has since stuck for good. ” WOW. Now watch this video by Sara in less than 4 hrs! 6500 individual photographs were shot by Daniel Leeb and compiled at CINECYCLE HQ creating a timelapse film showing Sara’s creative process. Nicole Miller-Wong : minimalism
Nicole is a graphic & motion designer based in Auckland, New Zealand, having worked with such clients as MTV, Nickelodeon, TVNZ, Mediaworks, Toybox, David Dallas, Caprice and others. She is Co-Founder of Sorbet Design https://www.behance.net/nicolemillerwong

Jennifer Dickert : Altered Context
Jennifer Dickert, the designer behind Fat Cat Fonts (since 1997) — her unqiue and whimsical typefaces are found all over. Luna Bar is one we really liked as a fresh, hand-written font — but she has other s from simple to fancy to outright GRUNGE! Aside from fonts, she’s also a web designer!
At her ‘day job’ Jennifer builds websites for clients small and large! She writes : I like to work with small businesses and help them by creating a site that’s easy to use, and easy on the eyes for a fair price. Usability is tops in my book.
