Peperina Magenta : Visual Storyteller
Carolina is a Graphic Artist in Mendoza, Argentina creating some splashy, cool graphic design! Her assemblages are complicated and punchy — we LOVE her sense of visual storytelling!
Marta Granados: universal language of color and shape
Marta Granados creates some rather striking graphics — her creative and artistic interests led her to perform a postgraduate degree in design at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, studies conducted between 1966 and 1968.
She returned to Colombia and became a professor in the schools of Graphic Design at the National University and Jorge Tadeo Lozano University Foundation, and Javeriana University in the Faculty of Social Communication.
Barbara Nessim : : An Artful Life
Steven Heller moderates a panel discussion about the art and business of illustration with illustrators George Bates, Peter de Sève and Barbara Nessim. They will share insights about their work and shed light on the changing roles of illustrators in the current media.
Presented in conjunction with the exhibition, “Barbara Nessim: An Artful Life” at the Bard Graduate Center Gallery.
