Check My Colours
Web developer Giovanni Scala has developed a tool for checking foreground and background color combinations of all DOM elements and determining if they provide sufficient contrast when viewed by someone having color deficits.
Be careful what you wish for though … we ran tests and came up with piles of totally unexpected failures. This is truly madness — But folks, do indeed visit Giovanni’s web site www.giovanniscala.com for some really cool stuff!

GrayBit online accessibility
GrayBit is an online accessibility testing tool Created by Jona Fenocchi & Mike Cherim. It’s designed to visually convert a full-color web page into a grayscale rendition for the purpose of visually testing the page’s perceived contrast.
Enter the URL of a page you wish to test. Submit the form. Wait for results. Wow!
Colour Contrast Check
Another unique color testing utility online, created by Jonathan Snook web design and development
The Colour Contrast Check Tool allows to specify a foreground and a background colour and determine if they provide enough of a contrast “when viewed by someone having color deficits or when viewed on a black and white screen”[W3C].
Peter Piper’s Palette Picker
Janet Lynn Ford has created Peter Piper’s Palette Picker, another very useful online tool to get your color combination.
Just click into one of the input boxes, then pick your color choice from the color palette — or enter a Hexadecimal (Hex) value of your own.
Palettes Pro
Palettes Pro is a powerful productivity tool for creating and maintaining color palettes. Great for creating color schemes. Now you can create a color palette anywhere at anytime.
