Getting Exquisite with Display Type

Well, each year Gerry Gallo comes forth with at least one all new icon font for our Fall Fonts Festival. It's a great time to introduce
Display Exquisite is a display font not intended for text use. It was designed specifically for display, headline, logotype, branding, and similar applications. In place of a lowercase there are small caps. There are also small numbers, but punctuation is limited. This is a versatile font because of the 45-degree "curves" which will render much better than actual curves when anti-aliased.

Display IntenseDisplay Exquisite is a perfect sister to Display Intense, which Gallo released earlier in the summer.
This is an ideal font for those occassions when you want to put images into the typeforms -- like our example at the right where we inserted a person's face right into the letters. (See our tutorial Putting images into type.) It's also great for logos, symbols and any place you need heavy-duty killer type.
Now add in Jerry's latest picture font called "Trees" and you've got the makings of some fun graphics. With this collection you can render, duplicate and modify all these trees (and more, actually) into your graphics files. They'll make great raw material for logos, symbols and display configurations as well. (He's even supplied you with a PDF file of the full font!)
Of course you'll also need Jerry's latest masterpiece Display Intense. This is a display font designed specifically for display, headline, logotype and similar applications. Beware: it is not intended for text use or for use at small sizes -- this type needs to be HUGE.
