What makes Vetren a "Sans for all Seasons"?
Here's a casual sans serif that defies the Mr. Wheildon's theory -- and sets simply beautiful body text. It has the added advantage of being a thick & thin sans, so it enjoys the legibility factors of the serif fonts!
Much like Optima, Vetren will be at home in both display and text settings. This is one of those fonts you could use to design an entire publication! Unfortunately there's no Heavy weight, because it would surely round out the face to make it truly all-purpose!
Note that all the settings for this font are in Vetren, our header above (set in Vetren Bold), the slogan we used on the first page (set in Vetren Roman), and even the background you see utilized on both pages.
