with some features that are actually better.

Photo Deluxe -- $89.95 is Adobe's Photoshop knock-off. I haven't
used it but I have heard good and bad things about it.

Paint Shop Pro -- can create, edit, and use masks. It supports
Twain-compliant scanners, and clipboard operations. Tools include
eight different brushes, pen, pencil, marker, crayon, chalk,
