A message from Doug Clifford... Welcome! Fred Showker tossed me a challenge a few months back. "Would you be interested in heading up a new wing at the Design and Publishing Center?" he asked. This would be an area focusing on all aspects of photography, both before and after a picture is taken. We could talk about "rules" for making better pictures, showcase the work of contemporary masters, explain how great images are created, and more. "Wow!" I said. "It sounds like a great idea." When Fred explained I didn’t have to do all the work it sounded even better. Of course, that’s why I’m here at dawn on Saturday morning, choosing my words and praising my ancestors for discovering coffee. We welcome you to the launch of &Fotographic! We’ve lined up some impressive contributors for the months ahead including such greats as Mike Berceanu. and Dennis Curtin. Both successful professional photographers and masters at creating captivating images. Each Month &Fotographic will put you in the driver’s seat with a subject we must all learn more about to stay competitive as commercial artists, designers, and photographers - Basic Information about Digital Photography.
