Online image editors
many great choices, functions and features
My brother passed along a link to dailygyan.com blog article featuring the top ten online image editors. Some we had seen before, and even written about in this column -- but some of the others blew us away. Of note ...
Phoenix Image Editor
The image above sums up just some of the fantastic image editing jobs people have done with Phoenix. For basic image retouching, the features are simple and easy to use -- for complex effects, Phoenix is very powerful, boasting most of the features found in Photoshop. Other images here are also from the Phoenix user gallery -- and some of several thousand uploads are simply astounding. Check it out.
Adobe Photoshop Express is also mentioned in the blog article, the author writes:
"
If itŐs from Adobe, itŐs gonna be big. Photoshop express, apart from being an image editor, also acts as a photo organizer and online photo storage. It provides up to 2 GB of online space and ability to create and share albums which distinguishes it from other online image editors."
LunaPic also caught our fancy as a beautifully simple editor with the ability to convert your images to animated GIF files, which differentiates it from others. There are a couple of ready made fancy animation effects, that you can apply to your photo. One of the special effects you can accomplish is this rotating cube; this water droplet animation, or this one, we wrote about back in October (before the election) -- the "Obamanize" which has started showing up all over the social networks used on people's profile pics. lunapic.com
All in all, you've got to find something you'll like at the Dailygyan.com image editors pick. Check it out
