National Coloring Book Day : something for everyone to relax, color and enjoy

Here we are at the end of summer, and August 2nd was National Coloring Day ! We like to celebrate all week! No matter where you are or what you're doing, it's a refreshing treat to dig into those crayons, colored pencils, markers or your favorite media and do some art. When you get involved and sail into that coloring 'zone' your troubles just drift away. If you need a little help getting ideas or getting started -- or if you've got some bored kids on your hands, have at any of these free samples!

Okay, we've been neglecting web design, so this time we'll look at typography on the web, business web sites and even a little fun with circles. My favorite though is the piece on cigar packaging! I was inspired to look a little deeper and I uncovered a treasure trove of art from modern graphic to vintage antique! Something for everyone in this issue ...

Jimmy Buffet once sang ... "Now you may be thinking that I was had..." but I was the one who had been had! Who is to blame? I know it wasn't Jimmy Buffett's fault!

Alternatives? How To Ditch Adobe Creative Cloud

Level up tutorials brings us an excellent overview of just a few of the new apps which can replace getting hooked on Adobe's subscription based software. This is a video. :-) Two thumbs up for Scott at Level-Up Tutorials

A new Graphic Design Tool includes a Collection of 6,000+ Free Templates

I don't often recommend sites or programs that take the talent out of the equation for producing good graphic arts. You'll remember that no template, and no tutorial and no YouTube can get you through a successful appendectomy or tooth removal. Yes, Crello lets anyone produce graphics -- but in the hands of a trained graphic designer, some rather extraordinary things can be produced! Take a look

Securely Delete iPhone and iPad with Data Shredder for iOS

Securely Delete iPhone and iPad with Data Shredder for iOS In today's world, most technology users need a data shredding utility that easily erases and wipes data on any iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Anyone can simply connect their iOS device to their Mac or Windows computer, and efficiently erase and overwrite all data from the iOS device.

In-House or Freelance Graphic Designers need high power project planning

In all the years I've been in the design and visual communications business, I've found the best way to plan is with a map! A visual layout for the plan. Dayplanners and all those calendar things really cannot match a big visual map on the wall. This could help you in visualizing, planning, and managing projects on the macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
* In-House or Freelance Graphic Designers need high power project planning

Does the world need a Object-Based Font Server? You be the judge!

Insider Software is promoting their new FontAgent® Server 7, the world's only object-based font server and the most advanced solution for organizing, optimizing, distributing and tracking font collections. It serves any size user community and is available via cloud subscription or on-premise network license.

Hacker protection Camera Guard blocks webcam and microphone on macOS

Hacker protection Camera Guard blocks webcam and microphone on macOS Do you know who is listening? Did you buy one of those Google or Amazon things that spy on your household around the clock? At least now you can make sure no hacker, spy or malware can observe you or listen in on you on your device.
* With just one single click, not only the camera, but also the microphone will be completely protected.
