Hello Springtime, April and May

April is brought to you by the letter A. Fiery and energetic, this color signifies passion, strength, and courage -- or, the color Diamond!" actually white ... but you can catch those links at the end. Let the show go on . . .

22nd Annual Designing Women : Michela Picchi, Amanda Jane Jones and Amy Cox

As we go along, we're picking up more and more talent to visit --and we've had several good nominations in the works. It's all about taking a broad look at this fresh and unique talent. Dear readers, I'd like to introduce you to Michela Picchi, Amanda Jane Jones and Amy Cox!

Creative Tidbits #226: James Niehues, DeviantArt, Logos, Iceland design

I love meeting new and creative studios and designers ... in this issue we get some news about fall of the trusted Deviant Arts web site, and how to hire friends. Well, maybe not. But one caution : web owners have lost their code of keeping links live. All over, there are tens of millions of links going dead because some web person changed a directory. No conscience. So if you encounter a dead link, please let me know. Creative Tidbits #226: James Niehues, DeviantArt, Logos, Iceland design

60-Seconds #341 : Is this really necessary? What are they thinking?

Have you revisited a site from your past recently? Were you shocked at what you found? At one point I stopped tracking spam sites. They had ALL become spam sites. But then, while researching the new iPad Pro, Google referred me to the site of an old friend "Cult of Mac", so I clicked to go there ... there was a loud whooshing sound as it took my breath away! WTF is THIS? 60-Seconds #341 : Is this really necessary? What are they thinking?

April, May and on and on

I've gotten involved with some other stuff this month, just testing the waters on blogging and doing some writing and observing outside of the graphics industry. If you're not tired of the world of politics, you might check out my "Medium" series. I'm a-political, leaning a little toward conservative, but always asking questions and trying to get people thinking.
* Fred's editorials at MEDIUM
One you'll particularly find interesting :
* The First Time I Was A Troll
Have fun, we'll see you in May or June ...
* April is brought to you by the letter "A"
April's color is diamond

And, as for this month, well, you've already wasted a perfectly good hour reading the DTG newsletter. Hopefully all is not wasted and you've gained at least one helpful tidbit of info.

Thanks for reading... go forth and be creative!

Parting words for April

"I've learned that it pays to fight for concepts and causes
that may appear unpopular at the moment,
rather than following the course of quick and easy agreement."
