Graphic Design: How Famous Brands Have Evolved Over Time

We are all familiar with Apple, Pepsi, Shell and most of the other world famous brands. Their logos didn't always look as polished as they do today however. As their companies grew their logos evolved. Some of the changes were subtle and others were drastic, some were a hit and some didn't stand the test of time . . .

Optical character recognition for MacOS Sierra

The client hands you a stack of printed material to digest in the next project. What do you do? The more work you can get done for you, the better you'll be, right? Typing is one chore that really hasn't been innovated. Now, OCRWizard 4.0, optical character recognition (OCR) and PDF document conversion application for macOS could relieve you of at least some of those chores. OCRWizard converts any PDF, scanned documents, or image files (including the picture of business card) into searchable PDF, Word, Pages, HTML, Excel, Keynote, and ePub, etc. on Mac.

Out with 2016, in with 2017

Pretty soon, we'll end 2016. Did you do something good this year? The world would be a better place if we all adopted the wisdom of Benjamin Franklin:
Each morning he would ask himself
"What good can I do today?"
... then each evening, before bed, he would ask himself:
"What good did I do today?"
Try to live by that thought.

This month, take some time and catch up on good deeds you may have missed throughout the year. Help out at the children's organization, or your local Salvation Army. Take a food basket to your local church's food drive. Turn in all your old, unused coats and sweat shirts to the local Goodwill. Pull out that checkbook and write some checks to your local free clinic, or the Boys and Girls clubs.

And, to you all, we send our warmest wishes for a joyous holiday season -- and best wishes for a healthy and productive new year. We're proud that you've chosen the Design Center community to be part of your life -- and hope to bring you many benefits in the months to come.

And, as for this month, well, you've already wasted a perfectly good hour reading the DTG newsletter. Hopefully all is not wasted and you've gained at least one helpful tidbit of info.

Thanks for reading... go forth and be creative!
