From the first designs for the DT&G and Design Center branding, the ampersand played a big part. Even as we rolled out printed newsletters, t-shirts, coffee mugs and all, the bright red Ampersand carried our look. We had no idea in 1988 that some day there would be a web site called "Pinterest" with more ampersands than one person could see in a lifetime! Wow. This is our LAST ampersands surf. If you're an ampersand lover too, just search Pinterest. And don't forget to pick up your free Ampersands Poster. We love those ampersands!

Yet another "best"
Everybody has their favorite "best" fonts with ampersands, this is what Carla Joseph selected (all free to download). But when you think about it, this is kind of a stupid way of selecting fonts, don't you think?

The 19th Annual Fonts Fest Ampersand Surf
That's it ... discover on your own
Back in the late 1980s and early 1990s there were very few references to ampersands. There were very few using ampersands as a mark in their brand. At that time, even the magazine "Car & Driver" had not implemented the fancy ampersand. It's been a grand ride, and we've had lots of fun -- but today, there are several million ampersand collections on the web. You no longer need me. Have a great time, and show me your favorites from Pinterest, Google Image, Flickr or from Tumblr. Enjoy!
And, ... The Fonts Fest Continues!
