Photoshop question from: The Warrens
Previewing images in Photoshop 5?

I was wondering if anyone knows of a program similar to 
"easyphoto" (for managing/previewing files in Adobe Photodeluxe 
2.0) that will work with Photoshop 5. Unless I'm missing 
something there dosen't seem to be any way to make a gallery 
of photos which can be viewed and dragged/dropped into Photoshop 5.0.

In the latest Photoshop you can use the new image browser feature.

Depends on which computer platform you use. On a Mac there are a number of ways to accomplish what you're looking for. You can use the Icons in button format in the Finder folder view. Click on one, it opens in Photoshop.

On the PC it may be a bit more of a challenge. Many programs don't support the drag-n-drop functions.

Extensis/Adobe "Fetch" or "Portfolio" is a nifty program that does the same thing, except it does a lot more like archiving large numbers of files on any volume or directory. This one's my favorite, I use it all the time.

Last month we talked about "gallery" or presentation programs for both Mac and PC, and we provide direct download links. These programs may fill your needs as well.
