DTG would like to introduce you to Veerle Pieters
Veerle Pieters is a graphic designer and web designer living in Belgium. Her career began in 1992 as a freelance graphic designer under the name of Duoh!. The first 3 years were mainly filled with print orientated work such as logos, stationery and brochures.
Later, Veerle joined creative forces with Geert Leyseele and their client portfolio grew impressively. In 2003 she discovered Web Standards after seeing the CSS Zen Garden and the work of Douglas Bowman. Since then she never looked back and shes actively promoting the benefits of Web Standards through her personal journal. What drew our interest in her expansive collection of design and art was the fresh, clean impression each project portrays to the viewer. This is one corner of the world where Adobe Illustrator is spoken freely -- and you can see it livens every piece shown in their portfolio.
What also caught our attention is the superb collection of good writing and tutorials in her blog. Unlike many of the other such sites on the web, Veerle's articles fulfill a real need in the community without being boastful or self-serving. We loved that about her work -- and recommend it highly to everyone.
