From the Art Nouveau period, famous fables and tales were enjoying a true revival, and of course those books had to have cover illustrations and plates that would tell the story. These artists have delighted a dozen generations -- yet their work seems as fresh and inviting as it did the day the books hit the shelves. These were some of the leaders of the "golden age of illustration" -- Please enjoy these from Arthur Rackham, Warwick Goble, Kay Nielsen, Edmund Dulac and Willy Pogány November 30, 2014

Richard Solomon is the artists representative, and has given permission to share these with DTG readers. Which are your favorites? Please enjoy! November 1, 2014
There is a big difference between good illustration and great illustration. For an illustration to achieve the highest level of communication it must first evoke a mood, then tell a story, and finally leave a lasting message. All of these illustrations achieve that goal. We're truly inspired that Richard Solomon has given us permission to spotlight these illustrators in the Design Center Gallery. The Richard Solomon Artists Representative firm has been around for more than 20 years, and has gathered the best visual talent in the world! So, sit back and enjoy the slide show of spectacular illustrations for spring! April 16, 2014
The water froze the instant the wave broke through the ice. That's what it is like in Lake Michigan where it is the coldest weather in decades. Water freezes the instant it comes in contact with the air. The temperature of the water is already some degrees below freezing. March 28, 2014

Continuing from the previous gallery of art by Qwasian Phillips, and Team Brinkz here are 30 more pieces from that will complete this update to Quasian's work. Through all this experience, note that producing cover after cover, all the type is still readable and telegraphic. Some of the custom lettering is a bit more difficult, but hey -- it's really tough to put out this much work, while keeping it all fairly different and fresh. Hats off to Qwasian, and keep up the great work! March 22, 2014
