As always, we remind you — be careful what you click. This is all good clean stuff for’ya this month, because most is at Flickr. But there are always malware, phishing stalker and predator links abundant in many of the replicated sites these days. Whatch those little popups in the text. Just stay on the tutorial / content paths and you’ll be okay.
So, here are yet more links of note…

Johnny’s graduation short film, Procrastination, was well received and won him the Jerwood Moving Image Prize 08 and was selected to be part of the Saatchi & Saatchi New Director Showcase.
Mr. Biggs Duz Illustrations
This kind of illustration wouldn’t ordinarily show up in a Photoshop column, but seriously folks … after the Flair pens and tissue, what do you do ??? Scan it and colorize it in Photoshop … yeah!
Brian was born in Arkansas in 1968, moved to Texas in 1979, fled to New York City in 1987 to attend Parsons School of Design, lived in Paris France for a few years, ran away to San Francisco in 1993, and since 1999 he has lived in Philadelphia. He works in an old garage.
Enlarging Jpg Files Test site
How often do we get inquiries on how to enlarge jpg files? About every month. I personally have written six articles on the subject. Thanks to “Cambridge in Colour” where there are no actual names to credit, you can TEST the methods online.
This page allows you to SEE the results for enlarging with these methods: * Nearest Neighbor * Bicubic * Bicubic Smoother * PhotoZoom * Genuine Fractals * SmartEdge * PhotoZoom (Default) * Genuine Fractals * SmartEdge . . sharpened in various methods * Bicubic * Bicubic Smoother
BEWARE : all enlargements are different, and your settings may differ from those used!
Enlarging is only as good as your Interpolation
In the article “Interpolation Revisited” Photographer Ron Bigelow updates a 2005 article about interpolation in Photoshop. Everything changes, so you need to get updated with this newer view of interpolation …
Here you can see the minute differences in today’s interpolation methods.
