Anna Grosh: typographic design

Anna has some superb art going on and makes a divine blend of typography and design illustration!
      She finished her first masters in Moscow at the Open Social Academy of Design and now she’s in the process of getting her second masters in graphic design at the Academy of Art University. She specializes in typographic design, illustration and graphic design.

Leila has an interesting story that begins as a child and ends up as a prolific graphic arts creator and printer. While her paintings are somewhat primitive, her posters are fun with a graphic quality all their own!

Mary of Time, space and quality

Educated at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Mary GrandPre began her career as a conceptual illustrator for local editorial clients. Her concerns for light, color, drawing, and design came together in evocative, ethereal pastel paintings evolving toward a style she now calls “soft geometry”.
      From there she climbed up the ivory tower of graphic design (See her Wikipedia Bio!!) Recently, she was featured on the cover of Time Magazine for her work with the Harry Potter Series and also worked as a visionary in the environment/scenery development in Dreamworks animated film Antz

How can you not just fall in love with the art of Melinda Beck!
      Melinda Beck is an illustrator, animator and graphic designer based in Brooklyn, New York. She received a BFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1989. Her various portfolio galleries are not to be missed. We loved our visit to strawberryluna and we think you will too, not just for this article, but a whole lot more!
      Strawberryluna is Allison & Craig, a pair of designers, illustrators, and screenprinters as well as music and film nerds based in Pittsburgh, PA. Allison says : “… the correct way to spell our studio name is “strawberryluna”. All one word, all lower case. Full on. When it’s good, you don’t need to shout.”
