Photoshop (Actions) Madness 2

by Fred Showker

Photoshop Madness, Fred Showker surfs the web in search of good Photoshop stuff

PHOTOSHOP MADNESS for November PHOTOSHOP MADNESS is where you practically go mad trying to find the most useful stuff for Photoshop! This is continued from the previous 'actions' madness!

Be careful what you click -- beware of malware and phishing sites As always, we remind you -- be careful what you click. There are malware, phishing stalker and predator links abundant in many of the replicated sites these days. Whatch those little popups in the text. Just stay on the tutorial / content paths and you'll be okay.
So, here are yet more links of note...

Bright Eyes

Photoshop 911 Photoshop Madness actions

This only works for blue eyes -- but it's really quite nice.
Joanna (ItsRealityStamp) from the United Kingdom created this Photoshop action. Unfortunately she's been banned from Deviant -- and Deviantart keeps the page, but puts spam there. Go figure. Fortunately, I have the action.

Dazzle-Textures obviously loves textures -- her studio is in Perth Australia where you'll find some rather stunning Photography ...
Expect to be dazzled when you visit her gallery of very cool stuff.

HDR Fake

Photoshop 911 Photoshop Madness actions

Beth Spencer (vacuumslayer) is a Digital Artist in the United States with a truly extraordinary portfolio on Deviant. She writes ...
"I do not pretend this is a foolproof way to make "regular" photos into HDR-style photos, however, on the right photo (a high-quality dramatic landscape or cityscape) it comes pretty darn close. One thing I know is that will make almost any picture *pop.* So try it out and have fun. And if you use it, please let me know so that I can see how it turned out." Joanna (IconMmaker91) is an artist and photographer in Bulgaria. She even wrote a quick tutorial on how to use her actions. She also has other actions, icons, banner files, and a bunch of texture files to check out.
Made in Photoshop, magazine scan -- Download, use, comment, fav, enjoy and whatever....

Muting Monochromatic

Photoshop 911 Photoshop Madness actions

This Photoshop action by "Kahwe" gives a flattened out, muted color effect ...
This is by Ugur OEL K, a photographer in Turkey who adds little other information in this Deviantart gallery

Page Curl Photoshop Action

Photoshop 911 Photoshop Madness actions

There are hundreds of page curl tutorials on the web, and even several provided by Adobe included with Photoshop. But this is an action! The action simply creates a page curl in any of the four corners of an image.
It's pretty good, but the best we could discover is the owner is Douglas Hanna from Atlanta, GA. This blog is like so many others that replicate tutorials and resources from other sites. But the action is pretty good!
