PHOTOSHOP MADNESS for November
PHOTOSHOP MADNESS is where you practically go mad trying to find the most useful stuff for Photoshop! This is continued from the previous ‘June’ madness — and now we’re following our last Photoshop Madness with MORE brides for June. . .

Be careful what you click -- beware of malware and phishing sites As always, we remind you — be careful what you click. I’ve tried very hard this month to get just good, clean stuff for’ya. But there are always malware, phishing stalker and predator links abundant in many of the replicated sites these days. Whatch those little popups in the text. Just stay on the tutorial / content paths and you’ll be okay.
So, here are yet more links of note…

Tilt-shift brides

Favorite Apps for iPhone, iPad and Macintosh

Although the CSS for this site is a little flakey, you can still make out the interesting tutorial on utilizing tilt-shift techniques in wedding photography.
Actually the results are kinda nice!

Were you really that thin?

Favorite Apps for iPhone, iPad and Macintosh

Or, “How to lose ten pounds in one photo” … (Or, how to end up sleeping on the sofa: “Geez, honey, were you really ever that thin???”)
This is about shooting, NOT Photoshopping … madness… This was a link to “How to retouch” but somehow it ends up in the midst of a flash site. Don’t you hate flash sites? Just scroll down.

The template buffet

Favorite Apps for iPhone, iPad and Macintosh

You want tacky? We got tacky. Except, isn’t tacky what really sells at wedding time?
The Artco Design company has oodles and oodles of really tacky Photoshop template frames to choose from — for a few bucks each — but they’re all high rez quality. There are some free selections at the link below.

And now, a little wake-up call

Favorite Apps for iPhone, iPad and Macintosh

You could always do something really, really special for the bride… a real painting. Kris Lewis creates these paintings with oil… NOT Photoshop. Kris writes:
“As I begin a painting the subject physically, emotionally and spiritually reveals itself to me. Each brushstroke speaks to the subsequent stroke, carrying out a dialogue, linking my subject and me as if we were meeting for the first time. I find this uncertainty exciting and embrace the indecisive nature of my work.”
