BEST 2008: Photoshop Plug-in

As I said before, there are lots of other plug-ins that basically do the same things as onOne Plug-in Suite 4. But with this, you can do ONE install, and have a dozen powerful programs at your fingertips -- literally tens of thousands of automated effects and functions that will save you thousands of hours while giving you top quality, professional results.

These two challenges are probably the most talked about and most requested effects in the Photoshop 911 Forums. If you deal with a lot of photos, then the Mask Pro product alone will pay for itself in just a few sessions. By the time you twittle with Photoshop's masking tools for some degree of results, you could be finished and off for coffee ...

Mask Pro 4.1 plug-ins for Photoshop

Mask Pro 4.1 is the Photoshop plugin recommended by Advanced Photoshop magazine that allows you to cut out a subject from the background by assigning keep and drop colors and simply painting away the background.

Mask Pro

This selection and isolation process would normally take hours. However, by utilizing an assortment of color and contrast tools, along with selections, you make quick work of getting your subject lifted out of even the most complicated backgrounds. Mask Pro 4.1 makes it easy to create masks, selections and clipping paths on difficult subjects like hair, glass and fog all in real-time. The built-in tutorials allow you to quickly learn how to mask even the most complex images.

On this one though, we give you a bit of warning -- take the video tutorials -- available for ALL the onOne product line -- to gain an understanding of how the tools work. I got a little frustrated when it didn't quite do what I thought it was supposed to do. But then, I returned to the walk-through tutorial and the video, and came back to do a quick, easy knock-out of Jimmy. So read the docs, and take the video tutorials. You'll thank me later for that tip!

PhotoFrame 4 Professional Edition

Frame selection PhotoFrame 4 Professional Edition really puts you into the digital darkroom. It is now easier than ever to add realistic film and darkroom edge effects to your images. But be warned: this one is almost too much fun for real productivity. I must have spent two hours looking at all the frames and frame-combinations. Don't forget, this allows you to stack matt on matt, frame on frame, and edges on matts, frames and yet even more edges! Click the above image for an enlargement! Before I knew it, it was dinner time!

You can also add artistic edges like torn paper, brush strokes or even create full-on layouts with backgrounds, textures and adornments. (Note that in this screen, I was using Tape Edges. But also note in the upper right corner, the list of effects begin to stack up, and give you the familiar "EYE" button to turn them off and on! It's a great piece of work!)

I really liked the "Typography" edge treatments, and have that one in mind for the 2009 Fall Fonts Fest! Now, just how cool is that?

PhotoFrame 4 Professional Edition is really the perfect plug-in for finishing touchs to your images. And, with its library of professionally created edge effects and design elements, you'll never use the same effect twice. You can create an infinite number of effects that really make your images stand out -- and probably never use them all in a single lifetime!

Plug-in Along with 6 Photoshop plugins that help you maximize the power of Photoshop, there's one more item I didn't mention. Automation. Yes, "batch processing" is probably the #2 most requested help at Photoshop 911, and when you look into PhotoTools 1 Professional Edition, you'll find its built-in batch processing engine makes it so easy to act on a whole directory of images -- including watermarking! To some, that feature alone is the award winner!

But you also don't want to miss Genuine Fractals 6 for high-quality enlargements, PhotoTools 1 Professional Edition, Mask Pro 4 for removing backgrounds, PhotoFrame 4 Professional Edition for the perfect finishing touch to your photos, PhotoTune 2 for professional quality color correction and FocalPoint 1 for adding selective blur and vignettes to your photos.

Do yourself a favor. If you spend more than just a few hours working on photos in Adobe Photoshop, take our DTG Discount code, DTGMM, and go get yourself some real help. You could nickle and dime yourself by buying the individual packages ... but why bother! You can save substantially by buying the whole Plug-In Suite 4 -- and do one single install!

The time savings, and comfortable interfaces of Plug-In Suite 4 will convince you right away that you really should have purchased this product long before now.

... and thanks for reading!
